Veterans, Pain Contracts & Medical Cannabis- Michael Krawitz

April 3, 2008 - Speaking to the Fifth Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics, disabled U.S. Air Force veteran and chronic pain patient Michael Krawitz is one of many veterans who find relief from physical and psychological symptoms with medical Cannabis (marijuana). However, new "pain contracts" disqualify patients from recieving opiate pain medicines if they test positive for marijuana.
As science now proves, patients can lessen their need for narcotic pain relievers, notorously hard on the body and mind, by using Cannabis as an adjunct medicine.

Michael was with us on the Texas Journey for Justice, ending up in Austin at the gates of Governor's mansion, so Geoge Bush could hear medical marijuana patient's pleas.

Many of our Journeyers, some of whom have passed on, have been veterans seeking relief with a God-given herb and fighting for the rights and lives of others.

They and Michael are our heros. This country should be proud and supportive of patriots like these.

Thank you, I signed the contract under duress of chronic pain, I loss all rights: DEA and local enforcement have complete access to my med records, which leaves me a target for harassment, I get urine tested like a criminal under probation, I am barred from using medical marijuana, I never get rid of the 24/7 nerve damage pain nor the whole body spasms that cannabis can safely relieve, Dr's are cleared from treatment causing death/damage. If I didn't sign; no doctor or insurance care.

a little morphine each day - a small amount - is the BEST and SAFEST blood pressure reducer known to man and also a great antidepressant but government workers think they can tell you you can't be "trusted" with your own body and must take expensive drugs made from Brazilian snakes etc so their buddies can make money and make you stay sick
