@ronzzo45 well technically any grappling art that extsensively uses submissions has practioners that use leglocks it all really depends on the teachers preference and what technuiqes you are exposed to

@UmekiABSOLUTE i dont remember any judoka doing a foot lock in a competition or MMA, judo guys mostly use armbars (juji gatame, to use the japanese term) and chokes (shime waza)

@UmekiABSOLUTE wrong, BJJ applies leglocks kneebars slicers and footlocks, in competition leglocks and foot locks are forbidden to blue belts except for the straight foot lock (no heel hooks), purple belts can use them both and in some cases only blackbelts, in submission grappling all leglocks and foot locks are legal...as i can remember, maybe i need to read the competition rules for BJJ and grappling again, since i hasn't fought bjj or no gi in a while, just MMA :)
