I remember when I got the 9.6 too. BLAZING speeds! Back when shit was measured in baud. Compu serve and prodigy and AOL!! (I never subscribed to these services, but I had passwords from just about kid in school who did have them.) back when they charged HOURLY rates, like a dollar an hour. I think they knew how addictive the internet was going to be, and cashed in big for about 5 years. I have no idea how much debt those bootlegged accounts accrued. I would sometimes forget to log off!
