SDR's prairie no. 5526 in BR black livery hauls Santa Special charters on the line. The train slows most of the way from Buckfastleigh to Totness as its got Santa on board seeing all the kids on board the train. All the shots were done in route order. This is more of a practice with my Panasonic camcorder as my films will be used more on it.

  • gr8 vid buddy

  • cheers matey!

  • great video mate, i never realised 4575's could pull that much.

  • Neither did I mate! Having thought it would be too heavy to haul that much, but its a GWR loco, all GWR locos were built to haul a good loads over most areas

  • @JBTEvans I think that's where Santa hangs out!

  • Nice video. and nice area.

    I like smal steamers.

  • Whats that gotta do witht he Full Brake? (the coach I am on about)

  • Just went at slow speed or only used a small pull on the regulator

  • Doesn't say anything about a Full Brake.

  • Errr..read the description to your right.

  • Yeah but why did they have a Full Brake on for?

  • Yeah I hope they decide not to repaint her.

  • Can a Pannier Haul more or not?

  • Also that train was crammed full of parents and kids so it mighta put the weight on for the loco to carry.
