Ma Audio HardKore 15" competition subwoofer

NOTE: People keep commenting that "Oh it only got to 136.5 dB, that suuucks". If you use your eyes and read carefully you will see that I said it "MAXED OUT A 136.5 dB SOUND METER" Which means it was LOUDER THAN THAT, much louder in fact! Damn, people who comment on YouTube need to get a brain....

Impedance = 1.5 ohms
Powered at 900 watts RMS
4 cubic foot sealed enclosure

I have maxed out a 136.5 dB sound meter so I know it goes at least that loud.

My camera only runs at 15 frames/sec so it doesn't really capture what the sub is doing very well.

wats 1.5 ohms running at 900 watts rms mean and wats rms.

1.5 ohms is the impedance of the sub.

RMS = Root Mean Squared. It is the average electrical power being supplied by the amp. It is much more representative of the amp's performance compared to the "peak power".

annnd how many watts does he have running to it....cuz if ur running 900 watts like he is THE SUB SOUNDS LIKE SHITT and doesn't power it right and its worse to under power your subs then over power them so get the right amount to it....i have 5500 watts running to mine and ill to you what that sub does not suck at all and get the box ported right do all that then see what u think

@xialildawg This sub sounded great running at 900 watts RMS. Had it in my car for three years with no issues. Also, underpowering a sub will not damage it. As long as you have a clean signal and you amplifier's output power is under the power rating of the speaker, it will be fine. It sounds like crap in the video because i was using a crappy camera with a crappy microphone, in real life this thing was smooth as silk.

ma audio alert i bouight 2 hk 15" subs from the deep discounts on ebay 1 year ago both subs stop working after 1hr of us tried to return them they only had 1 instock i waited for them to get more been waiting 11months anuba out of cali /nor deep discounts will resolve this issue stay away from both deep/and ma products

at 2000rms this sub will do a 141 db by its self i did a 141 myself in an 01 impala with just 1 on a hifonics 2500d and did a 148 on my last round i know it can do more because my amp takes 14 volts and my voltage dropped to 10 volts so it can do more

ooh i know its cuz of the camera i hate that they cant pick up full bass :( but i bet it does sound amazing in real life i have one too but i cant figure out how to wire it for 1.5 ohms i have a 5500 watt mono block amp i can push to it....was wondering if you could send me a wiring diagram of it

@crossfade2007 THESE SUBS ARE ACTUALLY BADASS IF U KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING. I PUT 4 IN A EXPLORER AND I GUARANTEE YOU WOULD JUMP LIKE A GIRL AND COVER YOUR EARS WHEN THE BASS DROPS. ILL POST A VIDEO VERY SOON. AND THEY ARE ONLY RUNNING AT 850w EACH SUB.

@Profoundmetal1 depends on your box man type r 12's are 500rms a friend has run 1200rms from his M1000 (birthsheet rms) in a ported box we designed and i've never smelt it burning
