I've been trying to find something to post on youtube because I haven't posted anything in 4 months. Today I drove to Geneva, FL to buy firewood and low and behold, there it was. These folks were so nice and the snake is intersting but the country people made the video for me, what do you think? I can't wait to go back.

  • Awesome, love living in Florida, best state in the union!!!!!!

  • i love it too. Wouldn't, couldn't live anywhere else.

  • Where is the rest of ZZ Top?

  • I drove by that place just this afternoon and noticed that they were gone. Trailer and all. Maybe they left to go join the rest of the band. I just don't know. I hope they are okay, they were really nice people.

  • The belch at 1:30 is just the added detail that makes this priceless! I suppose it was worth the drive, but why did you go so far for firewood?

  • I happened to be in that area so I made the extra drive over to pick up the firewood. They have a big sign up on Hwy 46 and SR 426 that I saw a few weeks ago. So why not.

  • This is hilarious & just CLASSIC! Only swamp folks would go up to a snake of which they have no clue if it's "good" or "bad" snake, & mess with it to try & figure it out! Love it!

  • Mud Snake or the ol' Hoop Snake, as some people like to refer to them. there is a myth associated with this particular serpent that says they can take their tail into their mouth and form their body into a 'hoop' and roll upright along the ground or downhill. ;)

  • its a mud snake they are non-venomous reclusive colubrids that eat eels they are similar to rainbow snakes

  • this is for all the fools who think FLorida is not southern or have southern accents or have hillbillies!

  • @sparkywundermutt1 - Amen!

  • stupid red neck hillbillies gotta eat and hurt everything
