Stainless steel is just what it sounds like... it stains LESS but it still rust. Why is this such a common error?

Thanks for the positive comments. The knives are not expensive at all. Because they use German and Japanese steels to make them they are not bottom-dollar, however the cost is remarkably low, especially when you think that every knife is ground and finished by hand to a very high standard.
Retail prices are in the range of US$20-60 plus freight depending on the model.
