hes my godfather, he and my dad in college and before college did a hole bunch of music together, and my dad plays on this album. There such good friends.

i really wanna know if he plays every inst on that album cuz if he did that just makes him a musical genius X2 cuz learning all those different transcriptions on diff horns is extremely difficult especially from someone who didn't really take any huge interest

I wrote an article about this a while back for Remix magazine. Leos Janacek was the first well-known composer (that I know of) to try making melodies from speech... I found that it really expanded my musicianship to try playing speech sounds on guitar and keyboard. It's like you're learning new scales - you discover undiscovered rudiments... Really there are unlimited frontiers for musicians to explore - just emulate what hasn't been emulated. I love what I've heard from The Happiness Project.
