I woke up in my fluffy hotel bed with Nick standing above me. I waited 37 seconds (AN: Whoever read Eclipse or whatever, i'm not sure which one, will know what this means!!!!) before opening my eyes and sighs echoed. Joe, Shelby and Nick were there.
"You were out cold, you fainted," said Nick.
"Oh...." I said.
"Well, we gotta go and clear things up, me and Joe," said Shelby. "Feel better."
Nick remained with me as Shelby and Joe left the room. He wrapped his arms around me, but again I pulled them off. He whispered 'I love you' in my ear but I told him to shut up because I heard something coming from Mel and Kevin's room. Banging and moaning. Oh shoot. We sprang up from the bed and barged in, we both had passkeys to the room. There was a bulge under the sheets.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!" yelled Nick, grabbing the top of the sheets and pulling them down a few inches to reveal Mel wrapping her arms around Kevin to hide her bare chest.
"Nick, i'm sorry, really...." pleaded Kevin.
"It was my idea," sighed Mel, gripping Kevin tighter. "I just love him so much..."
"We all hope that g-d forgives you," I shot at them, burying my head in my hands. "I can believe Mel, I mean, she doesn't wear a ring, but you, Kev?! What happened to the sensible Kevin I love as my best friend?"
"It's a good thing we aren't going to tell the press with them in the lobby," shot Nick. "We're already in ENOUGH trouble, what with now Joe hating on Sarah and our almost scandal. If we revealed that you broke your promise, the oldest one, we would get kicked out of Disney."
"Well now I have to stop wearing the ring..." sighed Kevin. "I can see it now: Kevin Jonas breaks his promise with girlfriend Melanie Hoffman. WHAT A F***ING SLUT!" Hot tears rolled down Mel and Kevin's cheeks as he said that.
"Did you at least use protection?" I asked.
"We aren't THAT dumb!" yelled Mel.
"We'll go now. You better get dressed," said Nick. We left to our room, and when we got there, I fell onto the bed, crying. Nick cradled me in his arms.
"They are just stupid, so stupid," I cried. "Doesn't Kev know that this could put your careers in jeopardy?! Mel will be called the slut of Sheridan! You'll have to just live your lives by being NORMAl, and it is obvious that you aren't normal. You are unique and you NEED to be famous..." the hot tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Shhhh, it's ok. We'll be ok..." he ssaid. Nick started to sing Lovebug in my ear as I cried over my two best friends. The tour was not even halfway done and I didn't know if I could take it anymore. The pressures of staying thin, everything. I would take my old life back, with Joe, Nick and Kevin not being famous and us not loving eachother back. Everything. I flung Nick off of me as I ran to the edge of the room and broke a vase, then grabbed one of the longest shards and started to cut myself. Nick grabbed the shard out of my hand and hugged me, us both crying now. He hated me doing that, especially since he helped me to stop. We just stood there, crying and hugging, for more than an hour. I felt another dizzy attack coming on, so I got out of his arms and lay down on the bed to prevent myself from fainting yet again. Nick lay next to me. So much had happened these past few days. And we had a concert tomorrow. I screamed, muffled in the pillow, but Nick still heard me.
"I have a deal for you," he said.
"Yes?" I said, tear stains hurting my cheeks.
"Can we just be best friends? With benefits, but rarely?"
"Oh, when you need a make out buddy when you're not going to be making out with your new girlfriend," I groaned.
"Well, yeah."
"No," I answered, shooting him my famous sarcastic grin. "Love you, Nick."
"SERIOUSLY?!"
"As my brother," I said. I actually loved him more than my sister Katy or my brother Mark. Pretty harsh.
"I can live with that."
I laughed and snuggled into his chest, and closed my eyes as he kissed my head, just as we did before all of this craziness. I just wished we were famous but not the craziness, no pressure.
"I'm yours," he whispered in my ear.
"I know," I replied, kissing his cheek.
