Impressions of Boracay

Boracay is a tropical island located approximately 315km (200 miles) south of Manila and 2km off the northwest tip of the island of Panay in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations.

Yes, we had a small radio with us. I've used it to record some minutes of the Radio Boracay live program. Also with the massage women you can impossibly miss when you walk there at the beach side.

The background sound is the original sound from Boracay :)

I was there again - 3 weeks ago. It's a wonderful place! The station Radio Boracay is still broadcasting.

THE RAPE OF BORACAY: Once ruled by its native inhabitants where they can freely enjoy the beauty of their island is now under seclusion in the remote part of the island. Wealthy known personalities were able to secure their rights in Boracay and continuously changing its landscape to their commercial intentions. Degradation of this once lush forest will be inevitable because of the unending influx of Commercial Businesses inside the island.
