Footage and pictures I took of Greensburg, Kansas as we drove through on July 5th, 2007 after the devastating F5 tornado that destroyed 95% of the town on May 4th, 2007. I also included 2 images I took of Greensburg when we drove through July 6th, 2004 which advertised the world's largest hand dug well.

  • Great video. My grandpa lost his home there, its so sad to see the town that way, it was such a beautiful little town. What song is that? It reminds me of something off of World Trade Center the movie

  • It is the WTC theme song. I just wanted something with a bit of piano and this song fit surprisingly well with the image transitions so I put it out there with the song. I just wish I had appreciated Greensburg more when I was there in 2004. I wonder if people will still be able to tour the well?

  • whats the name of the WTC theme

  • the interesting thing was is that I was visiting Greensburg 2 days before that happened.

  • how is it going ou there? what is it like?

  • No. I doubt you would move from a town that you grew up in and knew everyone's name. People have strong attachments to their homes and I'm sorry that you can't manage to understand that.

  • yes, yes it is

  • The tornado was bigger than the town.

  • jeez...95% of the town?

  • really moving music

  • THIS IS REALLY,REALLY SAD
