2 MA Audio 15" subs powered by Hifonics amp.

2 15" MA Audio 1500XL subs in a box that i built. ~8 CU/Ft, separated chambers, tuned to 40hz. 2000 watt hifonics class D mono block amp wired at 1 ohm. 1/0 AWG power wire, 8 AWG speaker wire. Set up used to be in my 95 camaro. Song in "Whip It "by Tech N9ne and Kutt Calhoun.

how you get that to work in your house

-3 700+ cranking amp batteries

-battery charger

-30 Ft 1/0 AWG power/ground wires

-signal cable from my computer

-and the know how

you can hotwire a computer power supply and run the 12v line to your amp, I've done it with a dell power supply

But you still need some batteries to hold a lot of juice. when i turn up the volume, a computer power supply wouldn't be able to handle the load. maybe if it was a 300 watt amp, but not a 2000 watt rms amp and 2 400 watt amps.
