using the PlayStation 3 official bluetooth headset or the PlayStation Eye webcam's microphone" i took this part from wikipedia. it has a decent article about adhoc party just google it. aaand yea that's all. what it does (in case u still don't get it) is that instead of connecting psp with psp both players connect psps with their own ps3s and ps3s act as adhoc signal transporters via internet. pm your psn id if u'r interested in finding some1 to play with :P or if u have any questions
