Hey, been having a hard time finding any Greer amps out there. I noticed Fat Sound does not even list those amps any longer. Have they cut back on making these amps or just hard to get? Not found a Greer amp over my way in a long time. Wanted to try a Rev 50 in person, but never found one. I still like the TB30 about the best.

@benellidown Nick's still making great amps, they're just a one man shop and things take time. Not a lot of Rev50's out in the world, shame too it's a fine amp. T-Bolt is also my favorite, and been my main amp for I think 4 years now? I still have this Cam18 too which is fabulous, and also a Maurauder and Hellfire I love. You might check with Infinity Guitars in texas, also Pedals Plus Effects Warehouse (,.com) stock them I believe. Pedalgeek might have a few too. I'm out of the resale biz.

@marvelboy04 The cam has a touch less gain and a bit more chime. The 6V6's give it a nice mid bump. You can nudge it closer to a fendery sound because of it, but it retains a voxy esque chime which is fabulous. very big and open sound. The TBolt is my favorite amp, but it's more Marshall voiced than the Cam. More early Plexi. There's still a bit of chime to it, and that swirl similiar to a matchless with it, but it's got a bit more grunt and grit depending which power tube you use.

Hi, Do you think it sounds more like a Vox/Marshall mix (as Greer says on his website) or more like an old fender/Marshall?
What about the Shime?
I'm really interesed in buying this amp but on the fatsoundguitar demo they talk about fender, the old fender? What do you think about that?
Thanks

@evilsmooth
I think what greg V means by fender is the definite 6v6 mid bump that's in it. It can get some tweedish style tones if you set it up right, but to me it's more marshall and vox hybrid than fender tones. It's like the best AC15 with more low mid WHOOMP or a chimey more touch sensitive marshally sound, with Greer's thumbprint all over the tone. It's really an amazing amp.
