The Waldflöte project is a MIDI retrofit to a 1890s Gray and Davison pipe organ located in the Forest Cafe in Edinburgh. It converts MIDI input into solenoid drive to directly press the keys on one of the manuals - there is no permanent modification to the organ.

Do i see an internal PCI soundcard up on that Waldflöte? I saw a midi execution too. How did you get hardware to send jolts to those keys? How long did it take you to time everything out correctly? I assume it initially was a very slow process.  So many questions about this process youve got going on here. I like it!!

That's not a "footering of random geeks", that's me who fixed that organ!

Took me bloody hours to sand the gold paint off the keys - and I only got the bottom row done. I *love* this video. The MIDI controller is simply genius!
