Minecraft: Simple Redstone Door Tutorial

In this video I teach people new to Minecraft or without programming experience the basics of Redstone; specifically I teach you how to set up a pair of switches that will open a door from either side. Topics covered:

@boorelius you have to move the redstone torch too (the one at the levers)

Can anyone please tell me how to do the gate at 10:00, but with the levers/button/plates in another place? because replacing one of those two levers with redstone fuggs up the gate :S
