The Philadelphia Police Departments northeast Detectives Division is looking to identify the suspects wanted for a robbery in Oxford Circle.
On February 8, 2014, at 3:54pm, 2nd District police responded to a radio call of a robbery at the 3&1 Variety store located at 6731 Castor Avenue. Once on location, police spoke with the complainant, a 66 year-old-male, who stated that while inside his store four or five unknown black males entered the store attempting to sell him a watch. When the complainant refused to buy the watch he was suddenly attacked by the males and was struck with an unknown object in his head and stabbed numerous times in his chest and stomach. When the males attempted to break open a display case, the complainant was able to chase the males from the store. After a failed robbery attempt, the males fled from store and were last seen on Castor Avenue. The complainant was transported to Aria Torresdale Hospital where he was listed in guarded condition.
Suspect #1: Black male, 18-20 years-of-age, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
Suspect #2: Black male, 18-20 years-of-age, wearing a black puffy coat, and possible red sneakers.
Suspect #3: Black male, 18-20 years-of-age, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
Suspect #4: Black male, 18-20 years-of-age, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
