Really,I love J Cole. Thats my nigga. But, his album was pretty poor compared to his actual mixtapes. His mixtape express him completely

People who say J. Cole's album wasn't that good or better than his mixtapes, its because it has to be marketable. Not everyone in the world is into the sound of Friday Night Lights. Well not anymore which is a damn shame. But J.Cole did his thing on the album even though his lyricism was a bit weak.
