Beatles fans gather 'round the Imagine mosaic at Strawberry Fields, Central Park. From the early afternoon to dusk, we sang along to Beatles songs.

Happy Birthday to Paul McCartney! From us to you! :-) We love you!

  • That is sweet! And, I saw where a "still wet behind the ears little twit" commented today on an article on Yahoo about finding a lost letter written by McCartneysaying he never contributed anything much to life as he could see it...but maybe he was wrong, he didn't live during that era. Yep, I had to comment and tell him....."You sure are wrong." lol This was a nice tribute to Paul's birthday. :)

  • @iwillrocknroll4eva Thanks for viewing the video! :-) Paul certainly had a huge impact on many people's lives especially in music and his activism. The Beatles are always on top of every successful musician's favorites lists.

  • what i dont understand is this is a memorial for john why do people come for the other beatles birthdays?

  • @nightcrawler511 Because John's spirit says it's okay to.

  • wish I had these people where I live-thanks for posting!

  • @VeeVeeNorCalBabe Thanks for viewing. I'm sure there are people everywhere that know at least one or two Beatles song, and can singalong to it. Some of these Beatles fans are also from Beatles NYC Meetup.com .

  • @peacelovebeatles Very well stated my friend. :)

  • @lnmyownwrite Right. They need to move elsewhere if they don't want to hear songs that bring people together. On that thought, I'd absolutely love to live there -- I mean, near there. I'd rather have this kind of "noise" than soundless, quiet peace. Thanks for viewing. It was fun! :-)

  • Great video. Wish I could have been there. It irks me that this kind of stuff is going to be banned now because of some stuffed shirt music hating neighbors who call this "noise". Too bad Yoko couldn't step up and use some of her influence to stop this from happening. Do they really expect this to remain a quiet zone in October and December? Maybe we need to start a petition and stamp out those neighbors AND Mayor Bloomberg for being such twits!

  • @dabelgrave Thanks so much :-) It was fun capturing this special event... and make a little tribute video out of it.
