This ranks among is the most amazing music ever recorded. Like much of the music from India and the far east, born of suffering, from people living close to the Earth It steps into the mystical realm, evoking the timeless cycles of life and death, expressing truths we already know buried deep in our psyche. Everything this guy is doing - his atonal scale, his unsyncopated playing - it all paints this emotional image in high resolution. Absolutely as great a musician as any who have lived.
