dude i did everything it says failed to connect i put my hostname in the adress bar it says failed to connect

@CombatGamers Woah, wait. First you were talking about that "important thingy" you didnt have now you can't connect. Dude, please explain your questions right.
Answering your above questions, sometimes people can't connect to their own hosts because of their routers. If you can connect using the hostname "localhost" then it should work with the hostname you got from DynDNS.
Just ask one of your buds to try connect to you. If that still doesn't work then it's something with your port forwarding

man i did everything the updater says its on and the status is good i can login to my server with the localhost and my friends can connect with my ip but the domain name does not work :S

@thebaze1 hmm you should login to your dyndns account from their website and check if the IP is the same on their site as is on your internet connection. And then you will see if the updater is working properly or not. Then you can just change it there. Also I've seen some routers have a dyndns updater built into them so you can put your details into your router instead of having a client on your PC.
