Mike Tyson's Punch-Out - Bald Bull 2

I've tackled Soda Popinski in a minute exact and now Bald Bull in his second encounter will push your skill to the ultimate test. The one thing that is important is that you'll need to beat him before the two minute mark. This strategy here will ensure Bald Bull never does the Bull Charge and trust me, it works. I need more practice though because Don 2, Sandman and Macho Man will require me to practice... a lot.

Phase 1: As the fight begins, he'll do a rapid rolling left jab so quick dodge and then afterwards do a delayed right body blow. You need to time it right because if you are too early or late, he'll block and if you get it in, you'll get a star. He'll do another rapid rolling jab so quick dodge and do a delayed body blow. Next, he'll taunt at you so throw an unstunned uppercut to inflict some damage. Next, you'll need to do an FDP in which you throw a right in which he'll block, then dodge and then do a delayed right body blow. Do two of those and you'll get two stars. Then, he'll head to his hooks which he'll throw at least two or three. Quick dodge his hook and then throw two jabs followed with a stunned uppercut. It'll inflict heavy damage. Afterwards, dodge his next hook, throw two right jabs and then an stunned uppercut for knockdown #1.

Phase 2: He'll get up on 9 and trust me, it'll be a bitch to try to take him down but here's how it is done. Throw an unstunned uppercut when he taunts then do 2 FDPs in which you'll get two stars. Then he goes into his hooks again so quick dodge, throw two jabs followed with a stunned uppercut. Do the same thing during his second hook and he'll go down for knockdown #2.

Phase 3 - He gets up on 9 AGAIN... and you have no stars. Throw a right jab when he taunts and you'll get a star. Then do 2 FDPs to get 2 more stars which will give you 3. Then he does his hooks again in which you quick dodge, throw two right jabs followed by a stunned uppercut. Dodge the second hook then throw two right jabs followed by a stunned uppercut and he goes down for the TKO. If you are lucky, you should have him down before 2:00 but if not when he does his Bull Charge, you can either dodge it or time a body blow to send him to the mat.

It took me a lot of practice to get this right and I swear, the World Circuit has some tough strategies that can drive me insane. Either way, I'll practice as much as possible and hopefully provide an improvement video whenever possible. I sure hope KingdomCarts cover Soda soon as well as the rest of the World Circuit. I'm getting worried.

after finaly beating the shit out of vodka popinski i tought it could'nt get any harder until i met bald bull for the second time i have being trying to beat this son of bitch for four days now and i am lucky if i can get one punch in i will try your stratege.its hard to belive this game for the nes is 21 years old mike tysons punch out what a classic game this is a must have game for any nintendo fan.i get knocked down but i will get back up again.

Once you can get some stars this isn't so bad. Unfortunately getting stars is very hard with this guy. Then keeping them is even harder. MegamanNG just makes it looks easy

Soda Popinski is easy but can be hard because he'll keep doing hooks and then do the uppercuts which requires you to do the Freeze Glitch.

I don't think the rematches would be as difficult if they were entirely new characters. Having to re-memorize the timing for a character who you already know is really tough. I found Piston Honda 2 to be way way harder than Soda Popinski.

I noticed something about the second Bull, he doesn't dodge stunned uppercuts anymore. Interesting.
