A video about Suffolk's new Enhanced Pump Rescue Tenders based at the wholetime stations in the county and especially Normanhrust's(Normanhurst Zero 6)
But the point you make about Norfolk's Rescue Pumps, Every Pump in Suffolk is fully kitted out with full RTC inventory including Holmatro cutting gear, Stabfast, step chocks etc etc, when the ERT's and PRT's are firefighting it just means that the heavier more advanced cutting gear has to come from a slightly further distance, but even that isn't that far anymore as Suffolk has 8 PRT's and 3 ERT's based around the county covering all areas in much shorter times
An interesting appliance, don't get me wrong but it's an Emergency Tender on the cheap. What happens when the ERT is in use at a fire?.You lose the enhanced rescue capability offered by the ERT for a period of time.
I think the Norfolk approach of having Strategically located Rescue Pumps for smaller RTC's and ET's for the more heavy duty RTC's is more sensible than the Suffolk Approach.
Does anyone know if the ERT carries any kit for specifically for building collapses?
I think these new Volvo's look alot like the Renault Premium (of which theyre based on, or vice-versa)

This is a Rescue Tender rather than a normal fire appliance, thats the eason fr fewer hose reels, so more rescue equipment can be fitted :)
