Celebrating 500 years of karate and 20 years of Bloodsport, which is my favourite movie. Soundtrack is 'Departure', from Ruroni Kenshin anime.

  • I'd say the one labeled "mean" probably suffers from hypertension....

  • @TKDLION Yes, that's true. There do seem to be a gazillion styles of Kung Fu. Shorin Ryu and Shorei Ryu trace their lineage back to the five-animal styles of Shaolin, Goju Ryu focuses on the Tiger and White Crane styles from the Fujian province, and Uechi Ryu is based on Pangai-noon style of Kung Fu. But most people just say "Kung Fu" or "Kenpo" because they either don't know the exact styles, or because there are just too many to name.

  • @44excalibur Perhaps but Kung Fu should not be spoken of as if it were one unified system. It isn't one martial art but an umbrella term.

  • @TKDLION I'm sure that's what @vancouversasquatch meant. Kenpo is just the Japanese word for Chuan Fa, which would later be known as Kung Fu, and Karate is a combination of Kung Fu(Kenpo) and Okinawa Te.

  • @vancouversasquatch I am afraid not. Kenpo is not even a Chinese word. Karate is a blend of the native Okinawan martial art and a few different styles of southern Kung Fu. It was used by Okinawans to fight other Okinawans. They also used it to fight the Japanese but that was a little later.

  • How about celebrating okinawa karate with some okinawa masters instead of some Hollywood guys..;)

  • @MarioMartialArts i found it bro its from rurouni kenshin!!!

  • @premium1823 i have the song.... i dont remember the name it was from japanese cartoon
