Im actualy Lithuanian and and ive been living in the UK for ages and i dont know why you find it so diferent.

It was the extremely large, Soviet-style apartment buildings that got me. I grew up in the Midwest of the US then in Switzerland; we never had any imposing structures such as the ones I saw in the Lithuanian 'burbs. It was just so stark, and in your face. And nothing was sugarcoated at all - that was different for me.

Personaly I liked your video about Vilnius, I saw nothing insulting or whatever, I think most of the angry comments are made by yeenagers, but they are angry on aaaaallll the world anyway>personaly I would have a pint with you in Vilnius. You seem like a decent and interesting guy for me.

Why are people getting so angry at him for sharing a genuine feeling and response to Lithuania?! I grew up there, and not that long ago I moved to Long Island NY, and damn does Lithuania look depressing. Sure there are awesome lovely old towns and couple of nice restaurants as well as tourist attractions; but a lot of the country is rotting, dirty and collapsing. I love Kaunas my hometown, but most buildings are in disgraceful situation. The difference is that I grew up there, and it's my home.
