  • Tony Barber's assistant at the time seems to have been alright for the show. In America, the version using this format in some sort of way, lasted from 1983-1989. The host of for the entire run was Jim Perry. His first assistant was Sally Julian. She was replaced by Lee Menning two months later. Late in 1984, Menning left the show, and was replaced for the rest of the show's run by Summer Bartholemew.

  • it's like a send up

  • @5star555555555 Hmm...maybe the Aussies knew that America was bringing back Sale, so they wanted to be different.

  • @Tubewings From 1980-2 (on Australian $ale's original set) they rotated counterclockwise

  • I just noticed something--the rainbow buzzers on this version of "Sale" rotated clockwise, while the buzzers on the American version rotated counter-clockwise.

    No toilet jokes, please.

  • @Bu8956 i meant without the cash jackpot

  • @rmenga4 No, it was mentioned at the begining of the clip that it takes $700 ti win the lot. Just like on our version!!!!

  • I Think the All prizes Level Is AU$605
