  • Why does it sound like that? Very horrible for a Mercedes :/

  • Lets see 6 degrees Fahrenheit, Diesel, not plugged in all night.. it only sounds like that until it warms up.. Plut it has around 250,000 miles

  • Like boiling water

  • glow plugs probably need replacing. Maybe one is week, but, not bad enough to trigger the fault sensor light. I have a 98 E300TD. If I start my engine before the glow plug indicator goes off, it will sound exactly like that. So, my guess is your glow plugs are not doing the job.

  • I miss the old "rattle can" diesels. The quiet ones today just aren't any fun.

  • it sounds like a f***ing tractor!

  • my semi-trailer makes less noice than that !

  • @TheReignManSonic if you like to drive shit, yeah.

  • I love the sound of a cold diesel!!

  • my dad has one of these in pristine condition........ itll be mine in 3 years... CANT WAIT

  • @TheReignManSonic Actually, it isn't.

  • Some wires hanging out under bumper?

What kind of heating do you have?

    Cheers!

Keep driving it its a nice car.
