Major Dick Winters passed away on January 2nd 2011. He was 92 years old. Winters was portrayed in the HBO miniseries Band Of Brothers by Damian Lewis.

In this age of people praising pathetic wannabes miming to crap music on second rate pretend tallent shows it is inspiring to know that REAL heroes are still remembered. It's not Hollywood. It's real life. You are terrified out of your wits, yet you still do it anyway. Why? Not for country, or home, or even your mother.
