Toshiba Camileo P30 Low Light Sample @ 1080P

Christmas Lighting on Orchard Road in Singapore. Video recorded using Toshiba Camileo P30 on 1080P setting. Camera is mounted to windscreen of vehicle. No video stabilization (none available at 1080P). Footage length was 15 minutes and then trimmed using QuickTime Pro to 10mins to fit YouTube maximum play length of 10mins.

That is to be expected. If there isn't enough light it will just look horrible. The outdoor shot of the Christmas lights is not that bad because it really is bright outside with all the lights.

Don't all cameras below even 500 bucks go ass up on low light scenes though? I woulnd knock that on the camileo in particular.

I think at this price tag, P30 is excellent. Spare a little more money than the P10 and get a proper lens and optical zoom as a bonus. Frame rate not bad at all at 1080p. Thumbs up!

Besides it's grainy in dark conditions a sort of grid is seen on dark regions on video (at least my camera)
