I had to do a project on the topic of my choice, so I chose the formation of Lynyrd Skynyrd. This is the video I made for it (most of it was done the night before).
Yes, I know I spelled lots of things wrong (like soul...and Gaines), but like I said, night before. Really, I'm not THAT terrible of a speller. Also, keep in mind that this was made for 8th graders who know nothing about the band, and was for an English class.

Man, yea like everyone else it would have been good but the breaks were messed up volume levels, contrast etc. You got about a C on this project for a grade didnt you?

@70brine Hey it [1970] could be right,he just looks a bit younger than 19 years old in the pic,he looks more like a younger teenager,I probably should have said Late sixties as early 60`s he was only 13 or 14 yrs old.Born in 1951.

@2000tc88 It is a 1970 picture of Gary. I have a booklet that came in the Skynyrd box set and the picture of Gary is in it. At least that's the year they have put on it.

Hey,I would just like to say "great presentation of a great band" and I agree with "some" of the other comments,but I would also like to add that at 38 seconds into the clip,[that`s eerie,38 Special,Larry an all] it shows a pic of Gary and in the background is 1970?,looks more like early 60`s,he looks like a teenager.

You're right, Gary does look a lot younger than 1970. That's just what the pic said when I found it, so I guess it could be wrong.
