Please don't give up. The DRC will typically approve appeals to the family size rule. If you have questions weather or not you would qualify, I suggest you contact OFA.

What a touching video showing us all the needs of the orphans of DRC.I would love to adopt a child from the DRC but unfortunately I just visited OFA website and our family does not qualify.I still wonder WHY when there are so many orphans in need do some countries restrict the size of a family who qualify? If I have the money to raise my children why does it matter?I will never understand why someone would condemn a child to life in an orphange rather then become a 5th child in a LOVING family?
