@FrogmortonHotchkiss But, I believe the case in point was people without integrity are losers and their "judgment" is skewed by their greed. You're changing the discussion at hand.

@FrogmortonHotchkiss Losers don't make good "judgments." He was sued because his browser and OS was preferred over, "what was the name of that other browser and OS again?"

@broadaorb Huh!? What does that mean? 'Losers can't make valid judgements' or something?
-
@FrogmortonHotchkiss I think you're forgetting the ones that accused him didn't win. It is that simple.
-
@broadaorb I don't think it's that simple and polarised. Bill Gates invented a computer system that empowered mankind in a sense, but he immediately moved aggressively to suppress or acquire the innovation of others in order to safeguard his own monopoly. He has hoarded more money to himself than any human being in world history, but now in his autumn years he gives out a lot. So he has been both greedy and generous. He has provided a service but also schemed in self-interest.

@FrogmortonHotchkiss The cons make it and lose it, make it and lose it.
-
@FrogmortonHotchkiss I've known both types and the ones with integrity don't seem to lose their money and they always have philanthropic ventures. The con artists are greedy, not looking to fill a need and they never give to charities.

@CalvinMeleney You need to read my comment multiple times, then you might change your views.
I know he says IF the 100 men are equal, but he's using that example to say something about real life - it's a misleading example. I paid attention just fine, thank you.

@FrogmortonHotchkiss Your comments indicate to me that you are not hearing what the man is saying. His point that you are challenging, he is not saying all men at 25 are equal, he is saying if you took 100 men at 25 that are equal. I feel you are missing the man's point as indicated by many of your comments. Perhaps if you listened to this video multiple times you might change your views. What is wrong with someone striveing to be the top salesman. YOUR words say that's only for loads of money.

Incredibly sobering. A shame it has received such little views. Shows how everyone simply conforms rather than put their mind to something of use.
It's very convenient for rich people and nations to believe that their wealth shows their integrity and industry, and therefore justifies itself, but it should be obvious that robbers and cheats can become rich without contributing anything good to civilisation. All you need is ownership and then you can let the little man do all the sweat of invention and labour, then you can look down on him as part of 'the 95%' and blame him for the poverty you inflicted upon him by paying him peanuts.

I also want to point out a particularly obvious huge glaring error in this little thesis: that the starting condition '100 men starting out even at the age of 25' absolutely does not resemble reality at all. 100 25 year-old clones with the same minds and ideas would probably live out very similar lives, chaos theory notwithstanding.
