Australian Brown Bandicoot (Quenda) hopping around on the porch

A young female southern brown bandicoot , called 'quenda' in the local indigenous language in Western Australia. She's hoping to find some peanuts, her favourite treat. If she finds the kitchen door open, she will enter the house and help herself to any snacks she can find, catfood is always welcome, but toast crumbs will do. No, not legal as pets in US or in Australia either, not without a special permit. These are wild animals which happen to be fairly friendly. If you leave your door open they will invite themselves in, snoop around under your sofa and dining table, help themselves to your pet food and generally make themselves at home.
