Due West (For West Arkeen) by Darrin Thorsteinson 2004

This is dedicated to West Arkeen, who kinda came up with this riff, and after he passed, I kinda made into a song...finally got around to recording/copyrighting it in 2004 and this was one of three of the first recordings I did on my new (at that time) BOSS BR1600CD. It is not without it's problems and imperfections, It is me doing the vocals and all of the instruments...used a Yamaha DTXIIIS electric drum set and the guitars/bass/vocals were direct (no amps) into the BR1600CD. Now that I've listened to it again after awhile and I'm uploading it, I've decided to re-record it and do a much better version....but here it is, in the rough....dedicated to a talented guy named West Arkeen....if you don't know who he was, He wrote for Gn'R back in the day....
