  • Cheers - it's CIJ 62 reissue with jamerson LaBellas, EMG active pickup and a mute under the bridge. Recorded direct in to pc via Phil Jones Bass Buddy preamp.

  • @jamersonshook thanks man, are these EMG "P"s (ceramic) or "PA"s (alnico) or x-series?

  • dude, you're awesome! that sound is unreal! is that one of the new '62 fender p-basses available for sale? w/ jamerson labella flatwounds? oh, & the amp? thanks, adam. :)

  • Good jamming!!!.

    Really funky!!!

I have a question: What did you study to play that stuff?

  • Deep Groove!!!

  • funky!

  • Cool!

  • @zaksnaporaz your right bootsy has some cool licks but we want to hear natural tone!!

  • oh yeah, I'm really missing this kind of funk !!! tired of bootsy effects "making the funk". That's not true, the effect does not make the funk: it's the feel and true tone from the wood !
