Video of the tsunami surge generated by the Feburary 27, 2010 Chilean Earthquake (8.8 mag) hitting the harbor in Santa Cruz, California. There were at least 4 surges over 2 hours - on each surge the water first went out for 15 minutes and the water level dropped 3-4 feet. Then the water would be still for a few minutes, and then a surge would come back in lasting 15 minutes or so. Estimated surge height from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center was 0.5 m for Santa Cruz.
The duck is just chillin. Nbd.

I am in Talcahuano, Chile and saw the real thing live :-S but still amazes me the force of the earth reaching even that far places.
