Once i sat down and tried to write a christmas song.
It should have been a nice and lovely one that I could share with family and friends.
Unfortunately what came out was this rather sarcastic piece.
Can´t say why..I must have been not in the best christmas mood.
I appologize.

Christmas time is near, dont you smell it in the air
harmony is kickin in, right in time as every year

a memory´s flaring up like a blaze
we´re missin christmas of our childhood days
when did it loose its magic, I dont know
replaced by melancholy long time ago

Everyone sits by the fire side, a breeze of cinemon in the house
snow is fallin slightly, awaiting Santa Claus

light the candles, sing of baby jesus
ignore the neighbour, where the bigger tree is
take your loved ones by the hand
enjoy the pretty winter wonderland

It's a great song and video even if it is a little on the dark side. All Christmas songs can't be happy anyway. It's kind of a weird coincidence, but I'm working on one that has a more negative tone to it too, and I'm struggling with it to find more of a balance to be positive.

First) It takes alot of guts and creativity to write a Christmas song, even more so to post it. B) the feel is unique for a christmas song and perhaps addresses the "darker side" of Christmas, it seems to reflect these hard economic times. And) the vid editing was great! As usual) Your vocal interpretation was haunting and moving. #5) Your playing was steady and true (I'm so envious!). Summary) 5***** isn't enough for this post.
