A version of Mississippi John Hurt's playing of 'Stack O'Lee Blues' (or Stagolee). Played on a Yamaha F310. It was hearing this song played by MJH (on 'The Best of MJH') that made me take up fingerpicking back in'75. This is the first piece I ever learned to pick - and I've been learning ever since! For guidance on how to play this piece, see my website, www.thumbpicker1812.co.uk.

  • Nice, I bought my son a FG200 a few years back, it's in need of some repair right now but it sounded great before, would buy another one
