Laker superstars Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard BOTH stopped by The Ellen Show this week, to hang out and catch up before the big 2013 NBA season kicks off.
In typical Ellen fashion, both guys kept their interviews light-hearted—meeting young fans, dancing Gangnam style, and LEGO SCULPTURES (yes, you heard me right), were all involved.
Let's start with Kobe—after chatting with Ellen, he met his biggest fan—a 10 year old named Jared Jones.
Jared met Kobe on set, and Ellen arranged for a little shoot-off between the two—If Jared made more baskets than Kobe, he'd score VIP Laker tickets!
Ever the gentleman, Kobe directed most of his shots towards Jared's hoop, BUT—I gotta give credit where credit's due—Jared had awesome technique and ultimately beat the superstar standing next to him.
As for Dwight Howard, things just got plain old silly when he appeared on the show.
He shot a little vlog backstage beforehand, and learned how to dance Gangnam Style! Judging by what I saw, he's definitely got some rhythm!
Later in the interview, Dwight and Ellen exchanged gifts—Dwight gave Ellen a $10,000 check for her charity, and Ellen gave Dwight the gift of Legos!
He admitted to having a bit of an obsession with the small plastic toys, after playing with them constantly while he was recovering from his back surgery.
So in typical-amazing gift-giving fashion, Ellen presented Dwight with a massive Lego sculpture of HIMSELF, of course wearing an Ellen basketball jersey!
So both NBA stars are obviously full of personality and character, but I want to know which player you're most stoked to see on the court this season: Kobe or Dwight!
