  • Fun little fact about the scene at 1:05…the crew stood off camera firing live rounds from a real Thompson Submachine Gun…which means Cagney had more balls then most action stars today.

  • Brilliant scene. I remember reading somewhere that they put milk in the water for the rain so it showed up on the black and white film.
