Sneezing

I have a new found appreciation for the virus that has recently invaded my cells.

It has co-opted my corpus and thrives through the globs of mucous that drip from my nostrils to the floor.

The virus lays in wait for another host, because once i conquer it, the disease will prosper.

A catch in the throat, a tingling in the nose, they are our ancestors alerting us to our origins in the primordial slime.
