Superman: The Last Son of Krypton (TV Spot #5 - Rebirth of Krypton)

This is the fifth in a series of television spots for "Superman: The Last Son of Krypton," a sequel to "Superman: The New Movie." This film series is based on the "Smallville" storyline.

The theoretical plot:
Brainiac arrives on Earth, in response to Lex's activation of the octagonal disc. Clark is initially intrigued and tempted by his offers of exploration and Kryptonian knowledge, but after going to Jor-El for counsel learns of the supercomputer's true nature. Brainiac sets into motion a series of environmental cataclysms transforming Earth into a New Krypton to serve as a new base of operations. Clark works to reverse the disasters and protect Earth, but is faced with an even greater challenge when Brainiac possesses Lex's body for use as a super-powered human vessel.
