i met a human police officer once.. he was contemplating quitting because all those around him seemed so indifferent. bizarre bullys of people. the system is not set up to get the right people into these shoes and its an institution where the wrong people do well and get promoted. in such an institution how can justice ever be served.

I have had the misfortune of working in a number of police stations (I have no criminal record) and found most coppers to be a bunch of arrogant c**ts. God knows what the selection process is to join the police, probably a degree in being from a middle class background, and being able fill out paperwork.

The fact that most coppers only socialise with other coppers shows that they are a bunch of social retards !

erm dude, on a saturday at 2 am the police are the ones causing most of the trouble,,they go into town where its nice and peaceful and they systematically set about harrasing assaulting and arresting the locals for doin nothing except have a good time, you see these police programmes where they are moving along drunks exiting the clubs and even on the programmes thepolice seem to provoke the clubbers into confrontation and as soon as a clubber reacts to their abuse they get 20 coppers beating em

@furdelance1 I wasn't robbed during the riots, no. The rioting in Hackney happened over several streets - Clarence Rd and Mare Street were the worst hit, my road just off Mare St. had action, it kicked off on Hackney Downs, and properties in backstreets around Hackney Central were damaged. And if you've not noticed the amount of people who get killed on our streets over the years then you need to get your head out of your arse.

My point is that even with the po' around shit still goes on.
