i have never been this happy to learn about chemistry...
-
ooohhh this explains all of the stuff that doesn't make sense in science class. Especially the end!!! thank you so much. I'm a grade 9 student and these videos are fun for me to get ahead.

thank you for this video!!!!

the titanium atomic number is 22, how come there were only 20 electrons in your arrow diagrams..
-
how many subshells are there in n=5 though??
-
And what does the n= mean?

Can someone explain to me the difference energy levels please..i'm so lost and i really want to understand it
like level 1= 2 .. s level 2= 8 .. s+p level3 = 8 ..s+p +d
Can someone pleaseee help me understand that thanks

Well spotted! It is a error. I have corrected it in version 2 of this video. Thank you.

There will be 5 subshells on n=5. It goes, 1 subshell on n=1, and 2 subshells for n=2, and 3 subshells for n=3 etc.

n is just the shell number. n=1 shell number is the lowest energy shell nearest the nucleus. n=2 is the next energy level shell. The shells are divided into subshells, like 1s, 2s 2p and the orbitals make up the subshells.
