Santa Fe Northern, 3751, blasts through Encinitas, California, on an excursion to San Diego, California. The consists had Amtrak cars and a few private cars. The private cars were mostly cars that had seen service on the California Zephyr. The 3751 was built in 1926 by Baldwin Locomotive works and worked for the Santa Fe railroad until 1956 where it was retired to Viaduct Park in San Bernardino. The 3751 was restored to operational condition in 1991 and pulled some great passenger excursions.
