BYM x Wadleigh IS/HS sp2011 Art, Illustration, Entrepreneurship, and Social Justice Course

Harlem New York City, NY -- Thirty inner city middle school students who attend Wadleigh IS/HS, youth members of Building Young Minds (BYM), join forces with Conscious Gear Expo and Rocksmith Tokyo.
This event is their exclusive t-shirt collection unveiling to the New York community. This one of a kind collection is the first to be showcased from this unique group of young aspiring entrepreneurs and is slated to create vast opportunities and inspire an entire community.
Comprised of all original designs, these t-shirts are the students' first public response to the impacts of drugs, violence and pollution they see in their communities. Armed with the knowledge they gained through eight weeks of intense art, illustration and design, guest speakers, social justice and community problem solving workshops. BYM students discussed issues that impact their community.
