what shells do you recommend? I assume 3 1/2 inch. I am going to NorthDakota on October 9-17 for ducks and canadian geese, Is that to early to expect some snows?

We only use 3 inch shells, with aftermarket chokes. Google Drakekiller chokes or Carlsons chokes and get the choke/shell that patterns best out of your gun.
I shoot a Benelli SBE2 or a Beretta 686E O/U - both with drakekiller tubes and Federal 3" 1 1/4 oz loads (1400 fps - blue box) are what patterns best out of my gun.
