Interesting building. I wonder how they keep it cool in the heat of the Beijing summers, with the transparent walls letting in all that solar energy.

The bubbles are double-sided, so the air trapped within the bubbles act as insulation. The sun would have to heat up the air within the pockets to the point they start to give off heat. By that time, the sun has already moved off.
