  • And as far as jobs, I think Bush probably did the best thing he could by staying out of the job market as much as possible. Even though the Tarp deal kinda lost a lot of faith in the eyes of his fellow Republicans. Obama could learn a lot about economics through the recent effects of socialization and arrogant spending.

  • Well, I was referring to the war on terror in general, but since you mention the war in Iraq, no I don't believe it was just Bush's War. After all, the Democratic Party spent the latter part of the 90s beefing up Saddam being a threat and voted almost unanimously to go to war with Iraq. Even Obama himself was a vocal supporter of the war in the very beginning and now that he's kept things going, that tells a lot as well. At least we managed to discard Saddam.

  • @HowDaddyIsDoing How many people was Sadam killing?? That is ok ??

This housing bubble was created by the comunity reinvestment act. Created during Carter, strengthened during Clinton. It happened to blow up on Bush. The Repubs tried to stop the NINJA loans but were shut down. I am not a fan of Bush by any means but the war kinda needed to happen and the economy is a result of the dems social engineering which did not work. AGAIN! Who got hurt the most? The poor. Why were they given loans????

  • doubt it woudl have happened. seriously. i have done good research on it...i mean the one in iraq. it was Bush's war. no question. NO BODY else would have done it...not even Sadam's worst enemy. and the reason we had jobs under Bush is because he was in the process of botching things. you don't agree?

  • Thoughts: Along that same think tank, Democrats and Republicans alike spend years complaining about Republican spending. Then they get into office and the deficit reaches $12 trillion. All the while, people remember how under the Republicans, at least they had jobs and that nasty little war thing probably would have happened anyway. :-)

  • the only difference between most Democrats and most Republicans: Republicans spend money on things that end up being a bad chapter in History--the latest being the war; Democrats invest and see good resluts years and years later. Thoughts, anyone?
