Arriving in Fiji at Bekana island, a nice man came to me and ask if I want to see how they traditionally prepare the food in the ground. Here is some photos and videos of it. At the end are dances performed by locals at this nice and relax diner. Watch in the back ground.. they use big bamboo to hit the ground as a percussion!
my uncle and his sons they will do this almost every Sunday .after church service they will tell me to make sure i stop by after church. so they will give me taro, tavioka, meats, and palusami. this family they are big family but they love to share there food with others.
